JGPCO has recently acquired the former Exide Technologies site located 2121 Lehigh St., Allentown, PA. Constructed in the 1950's on a 13-acre site the 200,000-sq. ft. vacant and decaying building was formerly used to manufacture automotive batteries. The site is located in the Allentown Enterprise Zone and identified as one of the priority clean up sites in the region. JGPCO will demolish the building and remediate this brownfield site with State, Local, and Federal support. The current end use proposal is for the construction of a retail shopping center.
