ASBURY, NJ, March 28, 2008 – J.G. Petrucci Company (“JGPCO”), one of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania region’s most respected development and design/build organizations, has been selected for two significant new projects in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley.
ICO Polymers North America Inc. (“ICO”), which recently signed a long term lease to occupy 127,500 square feet of industrial space at 6355 Farm Bureau Road in Upper Macungie Township, Pennsylvania, selected JGPCO to fully renovate the existing facility, including the construction of a sophisticated and highly specialized polymer grinding and milling operation. JGPCO will also fit out modern new offices for the facility, which is one of five ICO locations in North America. In addition, ICO will extend rail service to the building.
Jim Vozar, Project Executive of JGPCO, stated “We are very gratified to have been selected by ICO for this important assignment. We pride ourselves on our ability to handle even the most complex projects and to deliver them on time and within budget.” He added, “The cooperation we have received from Upper Macungie Township officials has helped make it possible for ICO to take occupancy in April.”
JGPCO was also selected by Garden State Tile Distributors to design and build a new 24,000 square foot addition to their Lehigh Valley Design Center. Located at 2501 Emrick Boulevard in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania, within Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VI, the additional space will increase Garden State Tile’s distribution capabilities in providing high quality products to customers throughout the mid-Atlantic Region. Garden State Tile provides quality ceramic, porcelain, stone and more to tile contractors, builders, architects, interior designers and retail customers. JGPCO expects to break ground in May, with the new Design Center to be completed by November 1st.
