BETHLEHEM, PA, NOVEMBER 12, 2008---- Iron Hill Construction Management Co., Inc. (“IHCM”), one of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania region’s leading construction management organizations, has been awarded two new retail projects, one in Flemington, New Jersey and the other in Williams Township (Easton), Pennsylvania. Work has commenced on both developments. At the same time, IHCM has completed two full-service retail branches for Bethlehem, Pennsylvania-based Team Capital Bank, one in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, the other in South Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania.
David Poloni, president of IHCM, stated, “We are very pleased to have been selected by the respective developers to undertake these two exciting new retail projects” He added, “It is also gratifying to have seen our work on the two Team Capital Bank retail branches come to a conclusion. Both projects were delivered on time and on budget.” IHCM had previously performed work for both retail developers, as well as Team Capital Bank.
Ground was broken September 22, 2008 for the Flemington, New Jersey development, which consists of two buildings on the same site: a 13,227 sq. ft. retail structure designed for up to five tenants and a 1,724 sq. ft. Starbuck’s. The latter features a drive-through, as well as wood-like exterior paneling, a curved entrance canopy and an exterior patio. The address for the two buildings is 322 Route 31 in Flemington. A spring 2009 delivery date is anticipated.
The second project, named Cedarville Center, is located at the intersection of Morgan Hill and Cedarville Roads, adjacent to the full four-way interchange at Exit 75 of Interstate 78,. The shopping center consists of 17,500 sq. ft. of retail space and has a maximum occupancy of 10 tenants. The expected completion date is February 2009.
Team Capital Bank had opened two branches earlier this year, at 1901 Hamilton Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania and 62 West Main Street in Somerville, New Jersey. Both offices had construction services provided by IHCM. The Allentown location was named a winner in this year’s Independent Community Banker Architectural (ICBA) Showcase, one of only five projects selected from entries submitted by banks throughout the country. Chosen by a panel of distinguished architecture experts, 1901 Hamilton Street had previously been occupied by another bank, but was entirely transformed both inside and out.
The two new full-service banking offices are at 190 Roseberry Street, Phillipsburg, New Jersey and 4285 West Tilghman Street, South Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania. Both facilities reflect the contemporary, but welcoming appearance that has become a trademark of Team Capital Bank.
