ASBURY, NJ and BETHLEHEM, PA, MAY 5, 2009---- At the “Today’s Trends in Commercial Real Estate” Luncheon on Friday, May 1, 2009 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce named J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. (JGPCO) as its Developer of the Year for 2009. It was the second time JGPCO has been so honored. The Commercial Real Estate Awards Luncheon honors the most innovative and accomplished firms in the real estate field and those who have contributed most to the development of the Lehigh Valley. Approximately 400 Lehigh Valley real estate executives and business leaders attended the annual event.
At the same time, the Lehigh Valley Land Development Milestone Award was presented to Lehigh Valley Industrial Park, Inc. (LVIP) for 50 years of success in the development of centrally located and efficiently designed business parks. JGPCO has partnered with LVIP on numerous occasions and in April, completed its most recent project within the LVIP system, a 60,000 square foot data and technical operations center in Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VII for Synchronoss Technologies, Inc.
T. Anthony Iannelli, president and CEO of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, stated, “The Developer of the Year Award is presented annually to one member-developer company that best exemplifies leadership and innovation in the commercial real estate industry. The Award is determined by a selection committee of Chamber staff and industry peers that uses six criteria to evaluate entries: industry and business leadership; involvement in The Chamber; quality of products and services; financial consistency and stability; ability to adapt to market conditions; and social consciousness.”
James G. Petrucci, president of JGPCO, stated, “We are honored to have again been selected as Developer of the Year for 2009. Our first involvement in the Lehigh Valley was more than twenty years ago and it continues to be a critical market for our company.” He added, “We are proud to be a member of The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and recognize their leadership in leveraging regional resources and creating opportunities for businesses to grow.”
