ASBURY, NJ and BETHLEHEM, PA, May 29, 2009-- Synchronoss Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNCR) continues to strengthen its customer value proposition and expand its capabilities. To further enhance its position as the leading global provider of on demand transaction management software solutions to the communications services marketplace, Synchronoss is relocating and expanding its facilities by opening a new 62,000 square foot Global Research and Development Center at 1555 Spillman Drive within Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VII (LVIP VII) at Bethlehem Commerce Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The new facility will be home to Synchronoss’ Operations teams, Research and Development teams and state-of-the-art Managed Data Facilities, while the company headquarters remains in Bridgewater, NJ.
The Global Research and Development Center was designed and built by J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. (JGPCO), one of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania region’s most respected development and design/build organizations. JGPCO broke ground on the facility in summer 2008 and completed it in less than eight months. Synchronoss has signed a long term lease to occupy the facility, which is the second one built by JGPCO thus far at LVIP VII. Tadd Wisinski, Senior Vice President in the New York office of UGL Equis and Allan R. Greene, Vice President in UGL Equis’ Iselin, New Jersey office, represented Synchronoss in the transaction.

Synchronoss is headquartered in Bridgewater, NJ and has held its Research & Development and Managed Data Facility in Bethlehem, PA since its inception in late 2000. “The Lehigh Valley area is a great location to continue expanding our organization,” continued Irving.

Wrobel, President of Lehigh Valley Industrial Park, Inc. further noted, “Synchronoss’ decision to remain in Bethlehem and relocate its existing facility to LVIP VII was strongly influenced by the Lehigh Valley’s outstanding pool of highly skilled labor, as well the park’s incentives, including Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance (LERTA), which provides a 10-year tax abatement beginning with the Certificate of Occupancy.”
