ASBURY, NJ AND BETHLEHEM, PA, October 13, 2009 — J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. (JGPCO), one of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania region’s most respected development and design/build organizations, hosted its 6th Annual Iron Hill Charity Golf Open on October 12th at The Club at Morgan Hill in Easton, Pennsylvania. The event brought in $45,000 to benefit the Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council (“LVMAC”) and New Jersey National Guard Family Foundation (“NJNGFF”). Despite a challenging economy, the total raised established a new record for the tournament.

The event was kicked off by a Presentation of the Colors by the Dieruff High School (Allentown, PA) Air Force ROTC. After dinner, ten awards were presented to the 2009 LVMAC scholarship winners and the tournament’s champions. The scholarship award recipients were Matt McConnell, Erika Davis, Cassandra Turczyn, Catherine Rabenold, Nguyen Le, Emily Birks, Leandro Perez, Caitlin Vanek, Tyler Delaney, and Sean Quigney.
LVMAC and NJNGFF work to improve the lives of local military, veterans and their families, to foster and coordinate support from local businesses, organizations and communities and to promote awareness of the military’s role in defending America. In addition, both organizations provide monetary assistance through scholarships and grants to needy military families.
