ASBURY, NJ, DECEMBER 4, 2009---- J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. (JGPCO), one of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania region’s most respected development and design/build organizations, has announced the completion of two repeat projects for Garden State Tile Co. (“GST”) and ICO Polymers (“ICO”) in South Brunswick and Bloomsbury, New Jersey, respectively. Both projects are the second ones JGPCO has undertaken for the two firms and exemplify JGPCO’s ability to gain repeat business from existing relationships across a wide range of industries.
The ICO job, on Vliet Farm Road, involved the complete restoration of an existing facility. The work performed by JGPCO involved, among other things, re-skinning and re-insulating the building, as well as repairing the electrical systems. ICO had previously relocated its operations to 6355 Farm Bureau Road in Upper Macungie Township, Pennsylvania, where JGPCO fully renovated the existing 127,500 square foot facility. The work included the construction of a sophisticated and highly specialized polymer grinding and milling operation. JGPCO also fit out modern new offices at the Upper Macungie plant, which is one of five ICO locations in North America.
JGPCO had also previously performed work for Garden State Tile, having designed and constructed a 24,000 square foot addition to the company’s existing Lehigh Valley Design Center at 2501 Emrick Boulevard in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The newest job was completed at GST’s South Brunswick, New Jersey Re-Distribution Center, located at 2250 Route 130. The first phase of work performed at the 22,242 square foot facility included a new store front, renovation of the existing showroom and office area, installation of a new roof, rebuilding and enclosing the loading dock area and more. A second phase of the project, encompassing primarily interior renovations, will be undertaken at a later date.
