ASBURY, NJ, MAY 18, 2010– J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. (“JGPCO”), one of New Jersey and Pennsylvania’s most respected development and design/build organizations, in conjunction with its subsidiary company, Iron Hill Construction Management, hosted its 11th Annual Tradesman of the Year Awards Dinner on May 17, 2010. Alert Fire Protection, Inc. of Uwchland, Pennsylvania was presented with the 2010 Tradesmen of the Year Award in recognition of the company’s outstanding work on a number of JGPCO projects, including Cigars International, a multi-faceted, 113,000 sq. ft. headquarters facility at Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VII in Bethlehem, PA and Riverview Court, a 71-unit luxury multi-family rental development in Nutley, NJ.
More than 160 guests gathered at Spain Inn II in Asbury, New Jersey, to honor the contributions made to JGPCO projects during the past year by tradespersons from both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Ocean Utility Contracting, Inc. of Toms River, New Jersey was given the 2010 Safety First Award in recognition of their continued commitment to putting safety first and for setting high standards for their fellow tradesmen. Ocean Utility had previously won the Tradesman of the year Award in 2009.
Other award winners included GC Electric Co., Inc., Wind Gap Electric Inc., Beach Lake Sprinkler Corp., PM Electric, GTR Welding Co., Inc., Pentel Enterprises, Tri-M Group LLC, Spectrum of Floors, Burkholder’s Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., Lee Decorating, Interior Motives Inc., CCS Inc. and C&B Iron Inc.
