TEAM CAPITAL BANK

Location: Allentown, PA
Size: 3,000 square feet
Team Capital Bank’s retail branch office at 1901 Hamilton Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania was named a winner in 2008’s Independent Community Banker (ICBA) Architectural Showcase, one of only five projects selected from entries submitted by banks throughout the country.  The selection committee, a panel of distinguished architecture experts, chose 1901 Hamilton Street for its clear, expressive design and the Bank’s improvement of a mature strip center and its neighborhood. A former Wachovia location in a brick-faced strip mall with little personality, the Bank sits in the heart of Allentown’s West End. The exterior of the bank has been entirely transformed and now boasts metallic panels and modern, geometric lines. More like an upscale hotel lobby than a bank, the interior continues the contemporary, but welcoming, feel.
