J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. Hosts 23rd Annual Iron Hill Charity Golf Open, Raising $475,750 to Support Veterans

J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. (Petrucci) and Iron Hill Construction Management (Iron Hill) held their 23rd Annual Iron Hill Charity Golf Open at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, New Jersey on Monday, September 28th. The outing raised a record-breaking $475,750 to support veterans, military personnel, and their families. This total broke last year’s fundraising record of $426,000 and will be distributed to 20+ military-focused initiatives.

Clients, partners, and community members gathered for a day filled with networking, great food, entertainment, and friendly competition. Over 200 golfers teed up to support veterans, selling out all three courses for the first time in the event’s history. Winning foursomes for each course are as follows:

• Forest Course: Sean Tims, Nick Damm, Jamie Egan, and Tom Schlegel with a score of 65.
• Meadow Course: Mark Roth, John Wichner, Dave Erickson, and Marc Ashner with a score of 67.
• River Course: Lisa Kahler, Jackie Erley, and Joni Elekes with a score of 68.

Bucks County Community College President Dr. Patrick M. Jones joined the event as Guest Speaker. Dr. Jones is a retired Colonel with 30 years of service in the Army and Air Force, and has since been dedicated to supporting higher education, especially for veterans. He shared a powerful story of service, leadership, and giving back to the community.

Over the past 23 years, the Iron Hill Charity Golf Open has donated over $2 Million to over 46 different charities. The funds will support a variety of initiatives focused on empowering the veteran community. Causes include combating homelessness, mental health, veterans’ scholarships, family support, therapy, healthcare, service animals, and more.
