HAWE Manufacturing US, Inc. and Romeo & Layla Warehousing, Inc. move into LVIP VI
J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. (Petrucci), a leading developer and owner of industrial real estate in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, is proud to announce the successful lease-up of 2500 Emrick Boulevard, a 120,000-square-foot industrial facility located in Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VI in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania. The firm has secured two prominent tenants, HAWE Manufacturing US, Inc.(HAWE), and Romeo & Layla Warehousing, Inc.
“HAWE is excited to begin U.S. manufacturing operations in the Lehigh Valley. By relocating hydraulic valve production from China to the U.S., we are not only investing in domestic manufacturing, but also strengthening our supply chain, reducing delivery times, creating jobs, and supporting the local economy,” said Mike Kozak, General Manager at HAWE’s new Bethlehem location. “The team of professionals from J.G. Petrucci helped us find a location that is suitable for our operational needs.”
Kerry Wrobel, President at LVIP said, “When a global leader like HAWE chooses to locate in LVIP VI, it’s a resounding validation of LVIP’s core mission of attracting manufacturing to the Lehigh Valley.”
HAWE Manufacturing US, Inc., a subsidiary of HAWE Hydraulik GmbH, a global leader in hydraulic components and systems, will occupy 50,000 square feet of the facility. Mike Adams and Sarah Finney of NAI Summit Realty represented HAWE and Jeff Lockard, Ryan Barros, and Kevin Lammers from JLL represented Petrucci. Adams and Finney worked with the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp. (LVEDC) to meet the needs of the Germany-based company. HAWE plans to utilize the space for its state-of-the-art manufacturing operations.
“LVEDC is thrilled to have played a role in attracting a global leader like HAWE to the Lehigh Valley,” said Don Cunningham, President and CEO at LVEDC. “Their decision to locate in the Lehigh Valley is a sign of the healthy, growing, and thriving economy that we’ve created here.”
Romeo & Layla Warehousing, Inc., a Golden Touch Imports, Inc. subsidiary, has leased the remaining 70,000 square feet, expanding its logistics business further into the Lehigh Valley with conditioned, pharma-grade space. David Zimmel from Zimmel Associates represented Romeo & Layla Warehousing, Inc., and Jeff Lockard, Ryan Barros, and Kevin Lammers from JLL represented Petrucci.
“It was a pleasure doing business with the Petrucci team,” said David Zimmel, President at Zimmel Associates. “My client had to move quickly and Petrucci exceeded expectations with a smooth transaction.”
