J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. Expands Educational Portfolio with Strategic Acquisition in North Bergen, NJ

J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. (Petrucci), one of New Jersey and Pennsylvania’s most respected Development and Design/Build organizations, has recently announced the acquisition of a school building in North Bergen, New Jersey. This deal further strengthens Petrucci’s investment in the educational sector and underscores their commitment to acquiring well-located, purpose-driven assets.

Petrucci acquired 4511 Liberty Avenue on June 24, 2025. The property consists of a 34,000-square-foot school building situated on roughly 0.631 acres in North Bergen, New Jersey. It is currently leased to North Hudson Academy, a First Children school providing educational services for pre-kindergarten through high school students with disabilities. It operates as a New Jersey Department of Education-approved private school. This is Petrucci’s second project with First Children; in 2023, the company completed a build-to-suit lease with First Children for a 45,000-square-foot school in Plainfield, New Jersey.
