J.G. Petrucci presents Lehigh Valley’s assets to international business development representatives

J.G. Petrucci recently had the opportunity to join LVEDC and a group of international business development representatives to chat more about the Lehigh Valley’s growth, the resources the region has to offer, and the international businesses that J.G. Petrucci has recently completed projects for!

Jim Petrucci, Founder and President of J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc., spoke to the 13 international representatives about how the Lehigh Valley has evolved over the last 30 years. In addition, he noted many of the international clients that his company has had the opportunity to work with over the last 32 years, such as Alpla Group, Bakerly, Cigars International, Martin Bauer Group, and more.

To date, J.G. Petrucci has delivered eleven projects to LVIP VII and has multiple pad-ready sites available within the park.

J.G. Petrucci also recently welcomed a German-based tea manufacturer to one of its speculative warehouse buildings in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania.

“This announcement is the latest in a trend of European-owned food and beverage manufacturers locating in the Lehigh Valley,” notes Don Cunningham, President & CEO of Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation. “There’s been great demand by manufacturers to enter our market and occupy smaller industrial buildings, which have been in short supply in recent years. We are fortunate that J.G. Petrucci has met that need and created space for this world-class manufacturer.”

The Martin Bauer Group, is an 80-year old, German-based, family-owned company, and a global manufacturer of high-quality teas, extracts and botanical ingredients.

“This was an important step for us, and our first tea plant in North America! We felt comfortable working with the Petrucci team on this expansion in the Lehigh Valley, due to their extensive experience with food and beverage companies,” explains Ennio Ranaboldo, CEO of Martin Bauer North America. “They guided us through the entire process with the local authorities and delivered a very good facility.”
