Petrucci Celebrates Grand Opening of Expanded Warehouse for Bosch Rexroth

J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. (Petrucci), one of New Jersey and Pennsylvania’s most respected Development and Design/Build organizations, recently celebrated the grand opening of Bosch Rexroth’s expanded industrial hydraulics warehouse at 2300 City Line Road in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The expansion was completed in less than a year, on time and on budget.

Bosch Rexroth is a leading supplier of drive and control technologies and has maintained a strong presence in the Lehigh Valley region since 1967.  Their new addition will consolidate operations into one 50,000-square-foot campus. A key component of the warehouse is the advanced AutoStore system, which streamlines the storage and retrieval of manufactured parts, reducing space requirements by approximately 40%.

“This expansion represents an important investment in the future of our Bethlehem operations and gives us the capacity and technology to better serve our customers,” says Rafael Paredes, Bethlehem Site Plant Manager with Bosch Rexroth. “We’re excited to begin this next chapter in a facility tailored to support our continued growth.”

Petrucci carefully coordinated construction so as not to disturb active operations and integrated the expansion seamlessly into the existing facility. The project delivers modern, state-of-the-art space custom-built to support Bosch Rexroth’s advanced drive, control, and automation technologies. Features include energy-efficient mechanical systems, an automated racking system, and exposed aggregate pre-cast panels.

Project team members, industry partners, local officials, and community leaders gathered in Bethlehem on August 11th to celebrate the grand opening of the new facility. Festivities included a ribbon cutting, speeches from key team members, and guided tours of the innovative new space.
