J.G. Petrucci Company Breaks Ground on 75,000-Square-Foot Expansion for Phoenix Tube Company in Bethlehem, PA

J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. (Petrucci), one of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania region’s most respected development and design/build organizations, recently announced that it has broken ground on a 75,000 square-foot expansion for Phoenix Tube Company, Inc. (Phoenix Tube), a leading manufacturer of stainless-steel tubing, rounds, squares, rectangles, and processed flat bar for ornamental and structural applications.

Phoenix Tube, headquartered in Bethlehem, PA, had outgrown its existing 200,000 sq. ft. facility at 925 Bethlehem Drive and purchased an adjacent lot for expansion to accommodate increasing demand for its products.

“The expansion of our Bethlehem facility is a crucial step in expanding our product line,” said Andrew Reale, President at Phoenix Tube. “In this inflationary environment, the project was facing rising costs, but Petrucci righted the ship quickly when they got involved. Their team was instrumental in value engineering the designs to bring our budget back in line without compromising quality.”

The expansion involves creating new office, warehousing, and heavy-duty manufacturing spaces. The current facility is a pre-cast structure with a 3,200 square foot mezzanine for office and storage space.
