J.G. Petrucci Company welcomes residents to new 172-unit East Orange apartment community

J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc., one of the region’s leading development and design/build firms, has opened its newest multi-family apartment community, The Station at East Orange, in East Orange, New Jersey. J.G. Petrucci partnered with TD+ Partners, the East Orange Housing Authority, and the City of East Orange to transform a vacant site into a mixed-use development with luxury apartments and retail space.

Situated on North Walnut and Williams Street, the new community includes 172 high-efficiency one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, 30% of which are designated affordable housing units, 3,477 sq. ft. of retail space, and a private terrace courtyard. The units offer modern finishes, floating kitchen islands, stainless steel appliances, central air, and top-of-the-line amenities, including a fitness center, business center, and a community room with a kitchen.

Wolstenholme says the company has seen a large shift towards transit-oriented locations with easy access to New York City.

The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from the community’s first residents, with many praising the amenities, location, and overall atmosphere. Petrucci Residential is preparing for an official grand opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to take place in the fall of 2023.
