In 2015, Gottesman Real Estate Partners and Mountain Development Corp. engaged the Design/Build services of J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. to develop a 63,000-square-foot Class A office building at 21 Roszel Road in Princeton, NJ. The three-story building was constructed for Hill Wallack, LLP, a leading law firm with offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The building features a brick façade with exquisite interior finishes, state-of-the-art security system, and noticeably lush landscaping. Also incorporated into the design is a centralized computer operation center in a temperature controlled environment with a full back-up generator power supply, which gives the firm and its clients the ability to work through any weather conditions or power outages that may arise.
When asked why his firm chose to work with J.G. Petrucci Company, Andy Gottesman, CEO, commented, “it was due to their previous building successes with our partner, Mountain Development Corp., and their outstanding knowledge of the Princeton office marketplace.” Gottesman added that they were extremely pleased to have Jim Petrucci personally attend the introductory meetings, which gave the tenant great comfort in knowing the project would be completed on-time, on-budget, and with a unique focus on quality assurance. “Jim and his team provided quick, reliable cost estimates and solutions to any question that either we, or our tenant, brought to the table. This ensured that all parties had good ‘facts’ over which to negotiate—it was never a guessing game,” said Gottesman.
As with any Design/Build Development, J.G. Petrucci Company flawlessly overcame any hurdle that was presented throughout the course of the project. J.G. Petrucci Company successfully completed the concurrent construction of both the building shell and the tenant space, accommodating Hill Wallack’s strict move-in date.
Mr. Gottesman explained why J.G. Petrucci was such an asset to the project saying, “even during rough patches, we always knew the final result would meet and exceed our expectations.” “J.G. Petrucci Company’s project management skills really kept the process moving and made all parties feel comfortable. The entire team brought a passion to the job that matched ours and Hill Wallack’s,” he added. When asked if Gottesman would work with J.G. Petrucci Company in the future, he was eager to say, “Absolutely!”
