J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. Delivers Car Wash Facilities in the Keystone State

J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. (Petrucci), a leading developer and owner of industrial real estate in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, recently completed three car wash facilities across Eastern Pennsylvania along with its affiliate construction firm, Iron Hill Construction Management (Iron Hill).

In Q1 of 2023, Petrucci and Iron Hill completed the Sparkle Car Wash, located in Mount Pocono, PA. This 3,775 sq. ft. fully automated car wash was inspired by Kevn Detrick’s unique design that is found in all Sparkle car washes. The new location continues the expansion of modern car wash technology developed by Detrick. Sparkle Car Washes utilize fully automated systems, including reclaiming water and chemicals for environmentally friendly service. Mt. Pocono location washes over 200 cars daily, is open year-round and offers monthly memberships. Buckl Architects and D’Huy Engineering collaborated on the project.

In Macungie, Petrucci and Iron Hill again collaborated with Buckl Architects and D’Huy Engineering to complete the 3,920 sq. ft. Car Wash on Main. This modern facility, a seamless blend of form and function, symbolizes the successful collaboration among all stakeholders. Construction was completed in August 2023.

In Allentown, J.G. Petrucci delivered another car wash located at 6777 Hamilton Blvd. Petrucci spearheaded this project, overseeing the demolition of an existing building and site development to make way for the 3,960 sq. ft. state-of-the-art car wash as well as infrastructure and pad development for a future 112,255 sq. ft. mixed-use retail and restaurant facility. Construction was completed in December 2023.
