J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. to Deliver Two Residential Communities This Spring

J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. (Petrucci), one of New Jersey and Pennsylvania’s most respected Development and Design/Build organizations, is nearing completion on two multifamily apartment communities: The Station at Hatboro in Hatboro, Pennsylvania and The Gatehouse in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Both projects involved the redevelopment of obsolete properties and are strategically located to offer easy access to transportation and amenities. Petrucci’s in-house construction firm Iron Hill Construction Management (Iron Hill) is managing both projects.

The Station at Hatboro is a three-story, 102-unit community with 4,732 square feet of ground-floor retail space, located on North York Road in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. This project is a redevelopment of a run-down mixed-use site that housed a mix of small commercial buildings. Features will include studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment units, a fitness center, and resident lounge. The building is conveniently located just steps from Hatboro’s SEPTA Station, which provides direct access to the Warminster Line and the Greater Philadelphia region.

The Gatehouse is a five-story, 44-unit apartment building with 5,600 square feet of street-level retail space, located on Polk Street in Southside Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  Construction is taking place on a tight infill site directly adjacent to the Polk Street Parking Garage. The project, a partnership with Peron Development, represents the City of Bethlehem’s broader effort to invest in the rapidly growing Third Street corridor. It is located in a vibrant, walkable downtown neighborhood, just steps from SteelStacks, Wind Creek, ArtsQuest, and other destinations.

“Building on a tight infill site like this one has its challenges, but the end result will definitely be worth it,” said Peter Polt, Executive Vice President at Petrucci. “The Gatehouse puts new homes and retail right in the center of the action in Southside Bethlehem.”

Both The Station at Hatboro and The Gatehouse reflect Petrucci’s commitment to thoughtful redevelopment that enhances communities and supports local economic growth.
