In January of 2018, J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. delivered its second turnkey real estate solution for the Essex Regional Educational Services Commission (ERESC). The ERESC had its sights set on a new facility in Essex County that could house its administrators and its growing programs and services. Based on its previous experience working with J.G. Petrucci, the non-profit immediately called upon the firm to assist with its search. J.G. Petrucci located and purchased a two-story office building less than one mile from the non-profit’s existing facility. Upon completing an extensive building renovation in less than six months, the ERESC was able to move its staff into the facility with minimal disruption to its daily operations.
Located in Fairfield, New Jersey, just five minutes from the ERESC’s existing location, this two-story, 25,000 sq. ft. building underwent a complete turnkey fit-out, which included a new roof, new office space designed to meet the ERESC’s specific needs, new double-pane windows to promote energy efficiency throughout the building, and new ADA-compliant restrooms. The redesigned space will be able to accommodate more professional development training and other workshops for the staff, as well as its educational partners across the Essex region.
