J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. is working on delivering a new neighborhood hospital in Hellertown, PA. This vital three-story, 90,000 sq. ft. facility, part of the Lehigh Valley Health Network and Jefferson Health, will significantly expand convenient access to acute and primary care services in Northampton County. The neighborhood hospital model is designed to efficiently meet the community’s healthcare needs by combining a full-service emergency department with comprehensive medical offices.
The project is being constructed on a remediated brownfield site: a former industrial property that served as an EPA Superfund site. Iron Hill Construction Management leveraged its specialized expertise in redevelopment to navigate the complexities of this unique location.
Set to open in mid-2026, the Hellertown Neighborhood Hospital will be LVHN’s fourth facility of its kind, offering a full-service emergency room, imaging, labs, family medicine, a sleep center, adult and pediatric rehabilitation, and cardiac rehabilitation.
