As Aquamar, Inc. continued to dominate the surimi seafood industry, they realized it was time to renovate their facility. J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. worked closely with Aquamar to develop a new facility that would support their growing demand and production of the highest surimi product quality to the East Coast.
Iron Hill Construction Management demolished the previous facility and delivered a new 70,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art food-grade industrial facility while allowing Aquamar to keep production up and running for the duration of the renovation. J.G. Petrucci and Iron Hill ensured that the construction methods and all tradesmen on site complied with FDA protocols while under construction. The renovated facility included a new product freezer, cooler, processing area, and dry storage area.
