J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. has completed the Development and Design/Build of Il Pastaio’s first United States manufacturing facility, a 71,300 sq. ft. plant located at the Great Stream Commons business park in Union County, Pennsylvania. Representing a $12.5M investment, the new facility expands the Italian company’s gnocchi production capabilities to support growing demand across the North American market. The plant includes five production lines dedicated to traditional, stuffed, and gluten-free gnocchi products.
The completed facility is expected to create at least 74 full-time jobs and serves as Il Pastaio’s first manufacturing operation outside of Italy. Strategically located within a Keystone Opportunity Zone, the project highlights Pennsylvania’s strength in manufacturing and agriculture while reinforcing the region’s position as a destination for global food producers.
