Since 1998, J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. has fostered a great business relationship with Alpha Packaging, one of the region’s top manufacturers of high-quality bottles for the pharmaceutical, nutritional, personal care, consumer chemical, and food/beverage markets. For over 20 years, the St. Louis, Minnesota-based firm has leased 91,600 sq. ft. of manufacturing space from J.G. Petrucci in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania.
In 2013, Alpha Packaging spent $3.5 million on new machines and equipment to expand its capabilities in the pharmaceutical industry. With the equipment expansion, the firm saw an immediate need for an additional facility in the Lehigh Valley to serve its East Coast customers better. Alpha approached J.G. Petrucci with their need for more space, and the two firms worked together to complete a quick custom fit-out of a 116,292 sq. ft. warehouse and distribution building in Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VII.
Alpha Packing currently employs over 900 people at eight manufacturing facilities in North America and one plant in Europe. Two facilities totaling 207,892 sq. ft. are owned and managed by J.G. Petrucci in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
