A.P. Deauville, one of the nation’s leading marketers and manufacturers of men’s personal care products, sought to relocate and expand its manufacturing operations from New Jersey to Pennsylvania. After purchasing a vacant 180,000 square foot facility at 3700 Glover Road in Forks Township, the company partnered with J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. and Iron Hill Construction Management to transform the building into a state-of-the-art production and distribution facility tailored to the health and beauty industry. The $16.7-million investment doubled the company’s manufacturing capacity, supported the creation of 105 new jobs, and positioned A.P. Deauville to better serve major national retailers with a strengthened domestic supply chain.
The project included demolition of existing office and mezzanine space, new mechanical, plumbing and electrical distribution to feed multiple production lines, and the construction of 10,000 sq. ft. Class-A office space. Iron Hill was able to strategically phase out the project to allow A.P. Deauville to start production as soon as possible.
