Middlesex Logistics Center is a 570,100 sq. ft. warehouse and distribution facility in Edison, NJ. J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. worked with Clean Earth Technologies to import roughly 750,000 tons of dirt in order to raise the former landfill site approximately 14 feet.
The site work included deep dynamic compaction and a methane extraction system. The vertical construction was completed in 8 months. The state-of-the-art facility features tilt-up construction, 36’ clear ceiling heights, 108 cross-loaded dock doors, two (2) drive-ins, 130’ truck courts, 60’ concrete aprons, parking for 176 cars and 103 trailers, TPO white roof system with high solar reflectance, T5 lighting, 1,000 AMP 480/277-volt service, and 6”, 4,000 PSI concrete floor slab. The facility also offers users access to rail transportation. Located at Exit 10 of the New Jersey Turnpike, the property is just 19 miles from Ports Elizabeth and Newark and only 30 miles from New York City.
